Did I miss something with Forte??

idk. I hear that's why they went after Forte in the first place to go along with Smart. They are also recruiting pgs in 2013 as well. I guess he just doesn't want to buy in and is doing the worst in workouts.

Of course they would be recruiting PG's for 2013, Dowell will be graduating and they will need a PG to replace him. As for Guerrero, I have no clue about if he's struggling or not, with work ethic or whatever. But, considering practice hasn't even started yet, I wouldn't think there would be any chance that a coach is already anticipating any kind of defection.

Practice is always taking place. And from what I've heard, he has struggled, especially with conditioning and attitude.

He's already one of the best shooters on the team. Watched him the other day and he was having fun and looked smooth.

You need a new source.

Can they at least play a game before you call them a bust?

An OU fan calling out another team for recruiting busts is actually pretty funny.

I didnt call them a "bust"...

Wing is out, not Forte.

Guerrero hasn't had a chance to be truly be coached at OSU. He's going to be behind the other point guards. Either he'll change his attitude or he won't play for Travis Ford. He's a freshman and needs some time to adjust.

Still shocked Forte and Smart went to OSU.

For any particular reason?

I'm speaking for vbdad, but I don't think that was a crack at OSU, don't get your panties in a wad. Rumor has it that someone close to Smart said it was a done deal to OU, not long before the sudden commitment.

OSU wasn't ever mentioned to our coaches as another possiblity by the players. They did talk about other schools.

All I know is Coach Ford feels his biggest challenge is getting players to visit.

Pictures of the new basketball facilities don't do them justice, they are ridiculously nice.

What team in Oklahoma is it again on probation and being investigated?

Yes, because that is always the best way to answer that. I was joking but we all know that the NCAA is a joke and punishes some schools in certain situations and not others.
Just look at what happen to Kelvin. Made what was 1 extra phone call per week that we all know that every coach in America did including Sutton. Heck, Andre Williams goes on live radio and says that Sutton called him every day while being recruited to Osu.
OU gets hammered for a booster basically giving Bomar and Quinn about what $7000 in unearned income. Meanwhile Can Newton gets who knows what and Auburn gets nothing. We could also dive into what Dez Bryant was driving around Stillwater for two years as well. And nothing.
Every school has dirty laundry.

The NCAA is a fraud when it comes to investigations and especially punishments.

Back to it, I was actually kidding but lets not act like the NCAA is all that.

Bryants car wasn't that nice. It was an older tahoe. His jewelry was nice, but he didn't sport that around on campus.

Bryant got the harshest NCAA penalty of the guys you mentioned for lying about dinner.

I'm certain every school has these issues. The State of Oklahoma is not the picture that you see when you look up "compliance" in the dictionary.

Bryant drove around in a brand new Cadillac Escalade his last two years at Osu. Even Osu fans were wondering where he got it.
I just saw a report that Dez didn't show up for his court date Tuesday. That guy may be dumber than Manley or Bomar...

But you are correct. No biggie IMO. Both schools and every school has skeletons in their closet. OU and Osu just rat each other out more.
I mean crap, Texas has 30 plus judges getting free priority Texas football tickets and just happens that those same judges are the ones usually judging on Texas players court cases, etc...

So is Forte supposedly going to commit here?
