Dinjyal Walker

Anybody know if Dinjyal Walker is visiting OU this week? I seem to remember that he was scheduled to be on campus today, but that might have changed since I read the report a couple of weeks ago.

Update anyone?

I think his visit was cancelled pending a decision from Gio. Hopefully, it has been scheduled.

Judging by the blog, Walker may not be a solid Plan B anymore.

I would hate to go into the season without a back up at the point. Sure, Cousins can play there in a pinch. But, we all know he is far more effective, and I believe more comfortable, at the two guard position.

He doesn't have a name right now. That's why I asked him to post it here if he gets one.

vbdad was responding to my concerns that OU might go into the season with out a back up at the point. If what he's heard is correct, and even he is not certain of that right now, we won't have to worry about moving Cousins to the one this fall. The only thing missing is a name, which should come in due time.

I couldn't go back and find it now. And the name escapes me. But, I picked up from a link from somewhere that there was a juco point guard from Canada that OU was also recruiting along with Walker. I thought at the moment that it was nice that they had a backup to the backup plan.
