Considering Joe's conversation with Porter started on Monday of the week he was hired, I would expect Porter was our first and only real choice, unless some other big name (Billy Donovan, Beilein, etc.) were reached out to and did not respond.

I doubt anyone else got a lengthy look.

There are rumors that Joe reached out to mark few’s representation. He doesn’t make much at Gonzaga. Money isnt his main motivation it seems, else he would be somewhere else already.

Coach Moser brought Clayton Custer with him as well. He’s not an assistant on the bench but he’s some kind of basketball operations staff member. I remember seeing him play in high school. He was so fundamentally sound and a hell of a shooter.

Director of player development is what his role will be. Matt Gordon is also coming. As Coach said, not as an assistant. 3rd assistant will be announced soon in addition to Dildy and Turner.
