Kentucky... Is there enough room on their roster now for both Ross and jones?I don't think they do... With Oregon not having a coach I believe it's between us and Washington for the two.... Opinions??

I would be stunned if they end up here. On that note, go sign them Jeff.

I don't think Ross will go to Kentucky, didn't really think that before this news but this doesnt help the chances.

Why would Ross go to Kentucky and compete with Lamb and Poole for time at 2/3? (Jones to a lesser extent as well). Plus Cal will be focusing on getting bigs for the rest of his class to go with Kanter (Jones and Lesile)

could be a situation where it helps OU. UK has Canter, will get CJ Leslie, and now has Lamb and Selby. No way they can get Ross who will have to compete with Selby, Lamb, and poole. I think it help UW out more though.

I don't think jones or Ross goes to Kentucky... Oregon has the odds stacked against them without a coach... I heard Washington only has one open schollie, is this true?

If so u have to like our odds at getting one of those two and I have a good feeling it's Ross because isn't he coming in for a visit now?

Thought he was going to Arizona.

Anybody confirm Ross coming in this week.

Washington freed up another scholarship when one of their players announced he was transferring a couple of days ago (can't recall his name), so they now have room for Ross and Jones if they want to be a package deal.

Selby is going to Kansas.

This is going to be interesting to watch because when I heard Capel say that he will have no one and done type player I immediately thought Jones wasn't coming here unless Jones doesn't view himself as a one and done type player. If we even get one of these two it will help ease the pain of losing TMG and WW a little bit.

Jones is now saying he will visit KU before deciding. Seems he has struck up a friendship with Josh Selby.

I have seen where jones has said himself that he will not be a one and done. Wash scares me the most...but if they both want immediate PT....and Wang to play together...then OU would be a good choice.

UK has like 8 scholarships open, so they could have a couple more guys commit and still have room for Jones and Ross.

Either way, they're not coming here.

Neither Jones or Ross will be one and done.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if Jones ended up being one and done. It's certainly not a done deal but wouldn't be a shocker either. He has the type of game that NBA Execs drool over despite not having elite athleticism.

I agree. His skill set is Carmello-esque.

I agree, wouldn't be shocked either. Just without the elite athleticism, his bulk (or lack of) will be a factor after his frosh season. Think one summer in a collegiate weight training program will do wonders for his development.

Yeah, he should definitely stay 2 years at least, imo. But it is so rare to have a kid who is 6'8, can handle, with a 7'2 wingspan. He is a poor man's Lamar Odom, imo.
