Curious what you guys thought of Mr. Honore's debut yesterday. IMO, he did some good things out there banging around with his body and hustling for rebounds and tip rebounds. His foot speed still has a lot to be desired but I think he can man the 4th post spot this year.

He might have been the biggest surprise/bright spot in the game for me. After seeing him in the stands last year instead of on the bench, I didn't expect him to play any more than Hardrick even these first few games. But he came in during both halves and ended up finishing the game and played pretty well. He has a big body, something that we don't have many of on this team, and he has really long arms. He has decent touch, although I dont think he'll score much this year. But he was able to use to body to rebound and he played hard. I think Capel was suprised and impressed. He let the Puma finish out the game and play important minutes (if there is such a thing in an exhibition game).

I had high hopes for Puma since he already played two years of D-1, something you can't say about anybody on this roster besides Cade Davis. But he exceeded my expectations in this game and I think he will be an important part of this team this year.

He's got a body like DeJuan Blair. Obviously not as good skill-wise, but he's a banger down low. Liked his screens a lot.

Agreed. I went back and watched the replay and he really did do a nice job of setting hard screens.
