We share the same concern. Indeed, which team will show up.
Obviously going to be some freshman nerves, but play smart and tough, get open and bomb the three and take it inside until we foul out the one tall player they have.
Our 3 point defense really has me concerned, however, particularly from the corner. The 3 and the 4 are not going to be able to give them any space. They can't sag toward the paint if we are to survive. Kaylon, Vivi, Treece and Maddie are just going to have to guard the rim on their own most of the time.
Can't give them that open top of the key look either. Carter, Sharane Ortiz are going to have to be on them, just they way they were at Baylor.
I have to admit to being nervous. We just need to win and get it under our belt without playing crappy.
We could go far, if we can accomplish that THIS game. Not the next. We don't need any psychological burdens on our shoulders facing Stanford.
