Football question

Coaching isn’t in a vacuum. HE PUNCHED A COACH.

if someone punched your mom or significant other… you letting them chill for 2 more years at your house?
The fact that he played after the incident shows it wasn’t serious. Venables doesn’t mess around. See Gundy. If it was serious, then he would have been off the team.

I’m just saying he was a reliable back. It would be nice to have another one of those in lieu of Tatum, Barnes and Ott being complete unreliable. I think it points to how mismanaged the RB room has been in the last few years.

Didn't he still play at OU after punching a coach? If it was that big of a deal, he wouldn't have played another snap at OU after that incident.

I'm guessing he has just been chasing money
That's a good point, don't know how you keep a guy on the team after that.

Not same, better. But even if it were same, 2 > 1. Regardless he was a problem off of the field.

There are a lot of other former ou rb's leading their teams too tho. Makes you wonder about Demarco. Also, his rotations are terrible and we haven't had a 1,000 yard back since Eric gray and Kennedy Brooks (his only good RBs too...).

If XRob can stay healthy and dmo (maybe more arbuckle) hasn't already pissed him off because of his lack of use, then we might finally see some life at the RB position again
It would be nice to have smothers right now
