If they were pinned back and get 30 yards in penalties, they still punt

Complain about Sategna not getting the ball enough. Then complain when he gets a screen thrown to him. I bet you have a lot of friends.

Yep. Let’s keep trying the same thing that never works because Burks and the rest of the receivers can’t block. And I consider you a friend. Maybe more like a stalker. But you can’t be this obsessed with someone without having hidden feelings for them.

It is remarkable how bad Mateer is. And equally remarkable that Hawkins sucks so much that he isn’t even an option. How a potential playoff team has two guys this bad at the most important position is just mind blowing.
 
LSU isn’t even trying to do anything offensively. They are content to keep it close, let Mateer make mistakes, and hope they can steal one.

Lol they've already run multiple tricks plays and it's not even half. They're pulling out everything, it just hasn't worked because our defense is elite.
 
If we don't get it and go the usual prevent D and they get a FG, I'm going to lose it
 
Man, this has been a dreadful half of football. I truly do not believe our offense has improved since last season. IMO, Mateer doesn't seem to know how to make quick decisions out there and by the time he decides he has very little time. I don't know that this is something that's going to improve at this point unless we get a different QB or a better line perhaps. This game could very well come down to one field goal and we could blow it and lose the one game we really should have won.

Mateer is Jackson Arnold with a better defense and better special teams.
 
Hopefully we will make a change after this season and promote Kevin Wilson to running game and offensive coordinator. He was our offensive coordinator early in 2000. Our offense was good back then. His no huddle offense blew Texas A&M and led to Bob Stoop calling the dog off.
 
If Ben Arbuckle does not like to be co-offensive coordinator then he can leave because Kevin is 10 time the play caller than Arbuckle is.

I’m sure they will trot out graphics showing our offense “isn’t that bad” and talk about how great every defense we play is, as if that excuses him not being able to throw an accurate pass to wide open receivers so close he could damn near hand them the ball.

LSU likely would have rolled over had we come out and played functional offensive football. They have nothing to play for. But our quarterback and offensive staff have allowed this to be a a close game, so now we will get their best shot.

Agreed. Now they smell blood and really believe they can win this game and with an offense as bad as ours they really do have a chance. Our defense is going to have to more than make up for how inefficient they are and win this game for us. AGAIN!! If we are not a playoff team after this game because of our offense, I would totally agree.
 
Mateer is unplayable. If BV and Arbuckle are serious about winning they atleast try Hawkins. Give the kid a shot. He can’t be worse.

I’m not sure. Hawkins is absolutely capable of coming in and throwing two or three picks and costing us the game. Then again, Mateer throws two or three passes every game that should be picked, and also misses tons of open guys. It sucks that bad coaching and development and recruiting leaves us having to choose between these two guys.
