Football question

FTR - I believe you did say that Owen had no case bc what he was asking for was supposedly unprecedented.

But that's the thing...there WAS a precedent. Which was discussed in court, but I didn't go to law school 200 years ago like John Marshall so I probably look like an idiot even discussing these things.

i did not think he had any real case at all until the filing this week .. that was a big deal ..
also i thought he still had a chance to win because of a local judge ..

the NCAA has actually won the huge majority of these cases .. they have lost 15 of 75 cases ..

and that came out in the most recent filing before the hearing ..

A lot of information with the filings came to light this week that had a lot of us thinking Owen would get a favorable ruling. Before that, I didn’t have much hope. Good job of fact finding by the lawyers and building a case.

Yeah, it's not bad journalism that optimism was low and then picked up recently. As new information comes to light, opinions SHOULD change. It's telling that Wichita thinks you have to dig your heels in and stick to your opinion from 3 months ago regardless of new information. Explains why he still thinks our football only won 6 games.
