Where's any bench contribution? Buford was playing well and did absolutely nothing. AK is now passed over for McNeese? This team just needs to hold on for at least a 4 seed to play in okc, or at least that is what we've been lead to believe. Also, how does Buddy not get a shot off in the final minute?

Guerin Emig said Manyang is in the doghouse because he's not assertive enough on the floor (paraphrasing).

I would say the team is not assertive enough on the floor right now.

I agree but we only get quality minutes from the starting 5. It is hard to consistently give it your all and be successful every night when your legs are just gone.

Someone called it earlier in the season that this would happen with all the minutes the starters were logging.

BS. Kruger lost the game because he is not play Manyang. The last few games we lost, he played McNeace instead of Manyang. Earlier games he played Manyang, now he complete stopped and paid for it with consecutive lost.

Just seems like the Thunder. Jump shooting tram with no post game and no bench. Almost every game, somebody comes off the opponent's bench and scores 12+ while we are getting 7 from 3 guys. Truthfully, I make Buford watch old Dennis Rodman game film and tell him it's all about hustle and want. Anybody can get the rebound and play defense.

Outest - Not sure AK is the answer? We don't have a go to on the blocks even when he was playing. Not sure what is up with AK but he isn't the reason we have lost the last two games.

At least AK gave us a physical presence inside. McNeace is not and also he had not had any prior game experience. AK was already in there for the previous game. Please tell me what is the logic in playing McNeace over AK.

Not that Manyang is the answer, but he also couldn't be any worse at allowing late offensive rebounds as Spangler and Lattin either. Pretty pathetic effort on the boards tonight.

Man I don't know. Mcneace looks lost and AK just isn't that good. Has to be something they see in practice that hasn't translated to the game yet.

The competition is getting better and we are seeing teams the second time around.

All we need is AK to bang inside to wear out other team post player. McNeace can't do that.

ya know that's what I thought, we actually outrebounded them by 2..37/35 off and def rebounds very close...12 vs 11 I think...off and def 25/24...something like that.

Rebounding wasn't bad the entire game, but that's two straight games we've gotten killed with o boards down the stretch. I think teams aren't sending all their guys to the glass during much of the game in order to limit our fast break. But at the end of the game they are sending them and we haven't been able to come up with critical critical rebounds that have cost us 2 straight games

I don't think he was the difference in the game by any stretch of the imagination

Completely agree. Whatever the reason for playing McNeace over him was had no bearing on the outcome. AK's lack of playing is curious tho to say the least.
