Actually, my expectation was a tournament in year 3. Given the roster turnover, late start recruiting, etc., I expected nothing the first two years.

Agreed, the bottom was ready to fall out from Lon all of those seasons after the final four run.

Overall this year has probably been about at expectations or slightly over. I think there was more excitement in the first part of the season but really all this year was down to if the guards played well and sometimes they didn't.

As all on this board have figured out by now, WT and I don’t see eye-to-eye on Moser being the HC at OU. But this is freakin gold! Literally made me laugh out loud.

The golden era of college basketball. It was so much more entertaining back then. Not just the faster pace. The energy. The crowds. The "style/swag". Fab 5. Kids sticking around for 4 years.

And 12 of the top 20 are in the top 150 in tempo...you can make that number say what you want. Our team was designed to go fast, not to play halfcourt ball. We were much more successful offensively when we were running. That stopped at some point...

Especially when you watch a game like this and see how unskilled our guards are. We should have been pushing the ball after all missed shots all season long. Shot not there.....back it out and run our dribble hand-off crap. But you have to push and see if our athletes can steal easy baskets.

It's a lot easier to dribble in the open court than trying to probe between multiple defenders.
