Does anyone remember the white guard who played alongside Singler at Duke a few years back? Shyer or something I believe. Been a while since I've watched him play but that's the guy he reminds me of a bit.

Jon Scheyer was an AA guard at Duke, and is now an assistant coach there. He had some decent backcourt mates, too, like Gerald Henderson and Seth Curry. Kyrie Irving played the year after Scheyer graduated.

Definitely this. I still think Tum Tum is going to be a stud but if you asked me who I wanted of the two today I'm going with Payton.

I think Payton would have come to OU regardless. His parents are alumni. I believe his father was an athlete.

I remember Payton's father well. Terry was a TE on the football team in the mid to late 80s. OU had some great teams back then.
