I don’t think it’s a lack of effort. We’ve been consistently out of position. Mental mistakes on the defensive end more than effort. And that kills you on the glass too because you’re not in position to hit bodies.

On top of that, when you’re not getting good shots, it means you’re probably missing shots or turning the ball over, which means you end up cross-matched in transition and putting yourselves, again, in bad situations on defense.

The effort part is leading to us being out of position. How many times are we going to sealed before we fight to get 3/4 around or front?

I don’t necessarily expect us to win games like this on the road against good teams but I do expect the team to compete. We were never competitive in this game and that’s all coaching.
