Good Big 12 Games Tonight

Texas Tech plays an 8-3 Richmond team who has beaten California, Northern Iowa, and Wake Forest.... Tech is favored by 4.

Texas plays an 8-3 UCONN team in Austin... Texas is favored by 1.

OSU has a chance to get embarrassed at home again, this team by the Kangaroos of UMKC... No spread on this game.

Kansas has a 10-4 UC Irvine team tonight in Lawrence... Kansas is favored by 16.

Hopefully the Big XII wins all of those games but this is potentially a big win. I think Uconn is just outside the top 25. Texas already has a win over UNC. A win over Uconn would be nice for both Texas and the conference.

Everyone won big or (in KU's case) is comfortably ahead, except texas who is trailing in a tight one midway through he second half.

Tech got a nice win tonight by 15 to go into Big 12 play at 10-1... They open with Texas at home.

Kansas cruised, OSU unfortunately didn't lose, and UCONN beat Texas.

The tough issue for Texas is that Ridley is, by far, their best interior player on both offense AND defense. Not having Ridley for 6 weeks or so is going to make things really difficult for them to try and finish in the top half of the Big 12. I thought they were trending towards a likely tournament team....somewhere around a 10 seed. But now without Ridley, I think they are on the outside looking in and probably, at best, battling K-State and Tech for 6th.
