It's been my experience that if you go into a situation with a pre-conceived notion you can paint the picture for yourself pretty easily, regardless of what happens in reality. I knew Gottlieb was calling our game, and I was anxious to hear how he handled his biases regarding his past with our program. Midway through the second half I thought to myself, "every ND State fan from Fargo to Minot is going to think Dougie is the biggest OU homer on the planet."

I've got relatives who are this way. They always think the refs are out to get us. They'll ***** about how we're not getting any calls and I'll glance up at our four team fouls and the opponent's nine.

Oh well, congrats to the Bison. Be as cold-blooded Saturday as you were tonight and you've got a hell of a chance.
