Just watched her at WV interviewing Staton and i believe she is the best sideline reporter out there. She knows the game and asks good questions.

And I love watching Huggins, he has a little Tubbs in him

Holly spent more time improving her skills and less time getting 'work' done.

I have honestly not watched some NBA games because Doris Burke is covering it. Her and Bill Walton are painful to listen to, Vitale comes in at 3rd.

My list would probably be:

1. Walton - is he as arrogant in person as he is on TV?
2. Burke - I don't watch a lot of NBA but for some reason she is more annoying to me when she does women's bb games.
3. Vitale
 
I can't stand Vitale. His act is old and I look forward to him retiring. Honestly, I look forward to lots of them retiring. I am sick of several of the older guys that have been calling games for as long as I can remember. It isn't even that they necessarily do a bad job as it is that I am just tired of their act/presentation.
 
I love Walton. So much more fun that most color guys. A lot of what he says is tongue and cheek and he isn't aftaid at all to stir the pot. His little rant about the failure in the US regarding the War on Drugs was awesome.

Maybe it is tongue in cheek. Tongue in cheek doesn't came across that way when you can't see the person's facial expressions. He just comes across as an arrogant jerk.

For pure entertainment purposes, Walton is the best color guy in college bball. His brain is so fried from weed that he continually goes off into these rants that have nothing to do with the game. And Dave Pasch has to spend at least half the game trying to reel him back into reality....their exchanges are absolutely hilarious.

I'm a big Doris Burke fan. She can call/cover an OU game anytime. She's knowledgeable and she doesn't "overtalk". She is the best female sports analyst/announcer out there today....imo.

I can't stand Vitale.....but I've never liked him. He's too busy howling and overhyping generic basketball plays that I simply tune out his act.

Get out of my head, dude! My thoughts exactly on all three.

Some of those Walton soliloquies have had me in stitches. Great late-night entertainment on the Pac 12 game of the week.
 
I think Bill Walton is classic. Him and Dave have the greatest exchanges on television. Burke on the other hand is terrible, she is by far the worst. I get tired of the "know it all" announcing style she has on every broadcast. Dickie V can be annoying for sure, but I do like his passion he brings for college bball. The guy really loves the sport, but he isn't my favorite.
 
Listening to Doris do the UConn/Memphis game and I just want to throw up! She is TERRIBLE! I think her main problem is she tries to hard and it comes across as sad!
 
Call me old fashioned, but I like the calls of the game to be from men and the sideline reporter to be a woman. I'm not sexist in the least...it's just what I prefer in watching my sports. Franny would be my fav color guy. No preference on the pbp. I can handle Vitale is small moderation. I also really enjoy Fafferty.

Just curious what you all think about Gus Johnson?...I like Raftery among the old school guys...I do like Fran as well...for me I like a color guy that actually explains what and why a play happened..little nuances we might not pick up due to the flow of the action..bill Walton is just out there..def outside the box but I can handle him more then say a brad Daugherty

Gus Johnson is perfect for fast pace action because he gets so excited but he needs to be with a very knowledgable color man bc he mostly just gets you hyped up. I agree with you on Daugherty.
