Home-and-home with Wisconsin Finalized

The home-and-home with Wisconsin will pit 2 of the best long-term coaches against each other. Lon Kruger vs. Bo Ryan. Two heavyweights.

Villanova. December 7th

Tough 2 game stretch unless you shove a mid major in between those games..and if you do it will be a trap type game..but I love this schedule so far
 
Sweet. I may be moving, but we'll be back for Thanksgiving if I do. Looks like I'll get to go to the Wisconsin game!

It is shaping up very nicely. You can't beat 'em if you don't play 'em.

Hopefully, the Sooners get a good matchup in the Big-12/SEC Challenge. I believe that game will be in January.

Next season's non-conference schedule is easily the toughest in recent memory, so far.

With this schedule I would be happy with another 9-3 non-conference record. Although we should return more than Wisconsin and it's at home this year. Don't know much about Memphis this year but Nova looks to be a top 10 team again. Any other notables other than the Diamond Classic?
 
Great news!! I can't stand Wisconsin! Their coach is a whining a-hole, some of their players talk too much smack and their fans on the message boards act like they have been a perrennial top 5 program for 50 years! You should have heard some of the comments they made when we played them earlier this year. The tone was such that we (OU) have never been a power in b-ball and all this success this year was new to us. I told them..you have to look past the last 5 years!! Go look at the past 30 years and let's compare the records of both schools. I never heard a peep from any of them after that.
 
Wisconsin won't be very good next year. They lost quite a bit. Nit team at best.

That would certainly be an anomaly given that Wisconsin hasn't missed the tournament once in 17 seasons (including all 14 under Bo Ryan). This will be a quality opponent for OU.
 
Well count on it. Their missing it next year. Big ten will be tough next year. Indiana, Michigan, Michigan st, Ohio st, Illinois, Iowa, Purdue are all returning the majority of their teams besides Ohio state who has 4 solid players coming back but a solid recruiting class coming in. Wisconsin is returning 2 guys next year who played and not a very good recruiting class.
