Kelvin has some real positives but has some big negatives too. I don’t miss consistently over his years our teams Not being able to score. Everyone on this board hated him for that if you remember. Very good defensive coach but lacking on the other end most of the time. I’d rather have a coach like Lon, who is a future Hall of Famer by the way, than one who does some of the crap Sampson does. Just my opinion. I’ll take integrity every day of the year.

I never hated him. When he finally did the offensive talent we went to the final four. Same as LK.

'Everyone' on this board didn't hate him.

If you graded college coaches on a 1 - 10 scale with 10 being no integrity at all, there are probably hundreds of coaches that would have a higher score than Kelvin. Lon appears to be squeaky clean and I think that's great but there are very, very few like him. If you want every coach we have in the future to be as clean as Lon, you'll be sorely disappointed.

My bad but I do remember all the complaining LOL. He had us in the mix but never a true threat to go much further than 1st or 2nd round. And very boring basketball.

I actually don't mind that. Most coaches draw up a play assuming there will be an on ball defender, so Kelvin threw them a softball to account for an extra defender. In the end, a freshman heaved a shot from 28 feet and made it. **** happens.
