It might be tough to recruit a top 2015 HS PG. Woodard has 2 more years, and OU already has a 2016 commitment in Payton Pritchard who is currently ranked at the #34 overall player in the 2016 class, and is undoubtedly our PG of the future. If I were a 2015 HS PG, I would think am I going to sit for 2 years waiting for Woodard to graduate, and OU has already recruited "over" me with Pritchard. The guy would have to be a combo guard kind of like a Cousins.
I did look up Blake Mills, and it shows he is 5'7" and weighs 145, so he's not a combo guard. That's very small for even a PG. Basketball is very physical and he might get bounced around like a ping pong ball. Even if he is fast and can create some offense, the guy has to be able to defend and not get overpowered on post-ups. OU switches on screens and I noticed Woodard on Niang a couple of times the other night. I can't hardly imagine what Niang would do to a 145 pound defender. It wouldn't be pretty.
