Exactly! Truth be known, though, I'll bet Capel was telling him from the sideline to dribble it out. Jeff said he and NCC's head coach have been good friends for a long time, and you don't rub it in on friends. Newell did the right thing.

I am glad he did not dunk as well. I remember whenever OSU did that to us at the very end of the game and I was so mad I could have punched a hole through my tv. It shows no class and I do not want to do ANYTHING that makes us look like aggies.

Nah, I thought it was a classy move by Cal... and yet another reminder that this is definitely not last years team... some of the punk a$$e$ on our team last year would have pulled some stunt like that.

Capel is rebuilding this folks and he's teaching the guys to do it the right way and to handle themselves with class and pride, regardless of the circumstances...
