I was hesitant. I definetely feel he's making some mistakes recruiting wise, but I was holding out hope he'd turn it around. Now I'm in the get another coach camp. Not BCG, maybe someone else though.

come on DM join the dark side with us

I was close to the fire Capel camp last year. Now, I'm in that camp completely. Three out of five piss poor years is enough!

Sadly, though, nothing we say or do will matter much. The AD will make the call, and he doesn't give a rat's rear end how any of us feel.

I too am on board. I was hesitant and thought he should get one more year but now he has to go after this season. We need to start playing winning basketball again.

Hire this guy as head coach:

He will bring this guy as an assistant:

I have been converted after last nights game. I've watched OU hoops since the 80's. Last night was the first game I turned off. I couldn't bare to watch that embarrassment.

No, I wouldn't.

A poster on soonerscoop seems to believe BCG is Joe's first choice. Not sure how strong his sources are, but it's what he is saying.

That's interesting. It's also been written about (I'll try and find the link) that BCG has been in Norman several times over the past year meeting with Stoops, watching his practices etc. trying to pick up tips on how to be a better coach. So I'm sure he's crossed paths with Joe C during those visits.

BCG wouldnt be on campus without Joe C. knowing about it.

Yep, that's what I'm thinking.

Also, read either here or on another board (think it was here but can't remember who posted it) that BCG has been active scouting and rebuilding relationships with the Texas high school coaches (AAU and High School) since his time off, and may even have some nice in-roads to some pretty good players should he get a good gig in this region.

Take it FWIW. Just saying.

BCG would put OU hoops back on the map, and give us a great Texas recruiter. he coaches defense, rebounding, etc with the best of em. He built A&M from trash and he can do the same at OU.

I would be thrilled with BCG, as long as he is not gonna be a problem off the court.

They had some decent talent when he arrived.

Look at Watkins' last roster...really shocking they were THAT bad.

I was in it last year and of course, nothing has changed. The guy simply was not ready for the conference or program.
