He looked like a damn fish who had jumped into a boat.

We need a gif of that.

Didn't Sean Sutton do something similar?

He can recruit but he sure can't coach. He was WAY over matched with Lon down on our bench.

I'm wondering which assistant advised Scott to go small? Surely he didn't come up with that on his own.

I couldn't believe he did that.......You would think this was the National Championship game or something....the way he acted....Baylor should be totally embarrased by his actions. I can't even imagine Krueger doing something like that....Baylor needs to get some "class" !!!!

Hypocrite U has NO class!!!

you are entitled to your opinion, but I think you are wrong. :)

I thought Kruger's overall game plan was superior to Drew's, but that isn't a shocker. I did think that Baylor going to a smaller, quicker lineup and playing with a more frantic pace was a smart move by Drew and I didn't like how Kruger and the players responded to it. OU had 2 or 3 timeouts left when Baylor started their run and it was obvious the refs were going to allow their guards to get physical with our guards and I think Kruger should have used one of his timeouts and settle down his team and call out the refs a little. And I am also not a fan of OU's inbounds play under their basket. No screens and Pledger running at full speed from nearly half court. Heck, use your front court players, both are quite athletic and very good to excellent free throw shooters.

This is a little too much. Baylor darn near pulled off an amazing come back. They were getting run off their own court. They ball was as close to being in as possible before it rolled out and in live time it looked like a 3 point shot. (Some have said his foot was on the line and the ball was in his hand at the buzzer, but live it looked like a valid 3 attempt). If I were the coach, I doubt I would have done that but perhaps his emotion is part of what makes him a good recruiter.

It would have been classic to watch Drew if that shot had really gone and then they took it off for being late (which it was).

You're right, Denver. The emotions must have been running high for Drew on that final shot attempt, which would have sent the game into overtime if it dropped. So it's really hard for me to fault him for that flop. However, from watching the action live on TV, I was reasonably sure that time had expired before the Baylor kid actually let go of the shot. As I recall, Fox didn't have (or at least didn't show) a good replay that would have verified what I thought I saw. So who knows? It's good enough for me that the shot didn't fall.

On the other topic (OU's coaching/team performance) during Baylor's huge rally, I can't fault Coach Kruger. Of course there are always things that a coach would have done differently having the benefit of hindsight. But I mostly put the blame on our kids for basically wilting under the Bears' late game blitz. Those young players of ours have generally performed well under duress and have refused to cave in when opponents tried to mount comebacks late in games. The final 6-8 minutes of last night's game was not typical of the way the Sooners have responded in those situations this season.

It also looked, to me, like his foot was on or over the line so it might have been counted as a 2 anyway!

I did a quick one:

Here's a youtube video (start at 2:10) via Baylor if anyone else wants to give it a shot
