Christian James and Rashard Odomes form half of the Big 12's 4-man team, along with King McClure of Baylor and JD Miller of Kansas State.

The Big 12 team plays at 9:10 PM tonight against Conference USA, 1:00 PM tomorrow against the Colonial, and at 3:40 PM tomorrow against the Summit League. Following pool play, there will be a 16-team elimination tournament on Sunday.

All the action will be broadcast on Twitter (https://twitter.com/3X3UHoops) until the semifinal and final rounds, which will be on ESPN2.

Each pool win is worth $1000 cash and the tournament winners get a big suitcase full of $100,000 cash.

So, these teams are usually comprised of the best seniors not expected to get drafted, right?

I guess. The biggest name I can see on the tournament rosters is Ethan Happ. Any senior is eligible, but the best will want to avoid any chance of injury before the draft.

3-on-3 basketball will be in the Olympics next year, by the way.

Daquan Jeffries from Edmond/U of Tulsa won the dunk contest last night. Having seen him play quite a bit I didn't see that coming.
