Jordan Shepherd reportedly has signed with OU

So were not trying to win a championship(s) just trying to make a final 4?

LOL at this leap.

So, you would have taken the Big 12 regular season title over the Final Four?

FWIW, I'm not sure if you have been to LNC, but the banners most significantly displayed are those from the Final Four. There is a reason that is the case.

If you have a team that wins the big 12, then you have a team that is capable of making the final 4 and winning it all.

I don't understand why its either a championship or a final 4. Is there a world where you can have both?

I'll remember that as much as I will remember the 44 point loss in the final 4.
This is an act. A pot stirrer. You complain about everything in hopes of drawing people into a debate. It becomes clear when you continue to harp about little things while the Sooner hoops program just polished off its SIXTH consecutive season with more victories than the the one prior.

And its FOURTH consecutive season with an NCAA seed higher than the one prior.

And its THIRD consecutive season with a deerper NCAA run than the one prior.

Onward and upward. Until proven otherwise, I have to play the percentages and assume we'll be a 1-seed in 2017 with 30 or more victories.

You, on the other hand, will scoff at the left nostril of Penelope Cruz.

Again, who said you one couldn't have both? :facepalm

But, that Final Four banner will be prominently displayed and for good reason.

Her elbows are too pointy.

I am perfectly happy wanting one thing for OU and you guys wanting something else. I'm not even upset that we brought this kid in. I was actually wanting OU to bring in Evans. And when I was bringing that up in the past, I got ridiculed b/c we had Strong on our bench and bringing in another PG would only make it harder to bring in Young. And now we bring in another PG and I question it b/c I bought into the whole Young thing and now you don't like that.

Mostly the highlights showed his dishing skills. If he is a shooter on top of that he is a very good sign.

Final 4 over Big 12 Championship 100pct!!!!!!!!! This guy must be a KU fan lol I have this argument all the time with my buddies..

Who says this kid or Young (or both) will play PG at OU? Just because they play that position in HS doesn't translate to playing the same position in college.

Still think Manyang is going to start over Lattin? Still think we aren't taking any pg's this year b/c of our shot at Young?

Do you still think Solomon would start over Lattin if he was at OU?

Sooner04 is right, you're a pot stirrer, a negativity machine who gets his kicks out of keeping people riled up. I have spent more time in defending your right to be here than anyone else on this board, even catoosanumber22. I would tell you to ask him how that turned out, except he's not here anymore and he is not coming back.

Don't give me some lame excuse about why you gripe and complain so much. I heard all of them, and it's getting old. And, yes, there is an underlying message in that observation...that is, if you're smart enough to recognize it.

I don't know. I am glad we brought in another PG b/c I'm never sold on Juco kids. I don't think theres any doubt that Young will play PG in college though.

To answer your question about Solomon...No. Lattin has surpassed him.

I talk OU bball and you are threatening me. I see people on here call other people names and talk about what kind of childhood they had and so on and so on but I don't attack people but you feel the need to threaten to ban me. Whatever Ada. I never once see you stand up for anyone that attacks a person on here with name calls and yet here you are. So do what you want. I will continue to talk basketball until you ban me whether you disagree with what I think or not.

I'm not sure why anyone thinks there will be a shortage of scholarships available. It's getting to the point where it's all but a mathematical certainty someone will leave through attrition. Lon Kruger has lost one player every year due to attrition - Newell (2012), M'baye (2013), Hornbeak (2014), Booker (2015) and likely Manyang (2016). All our former coaches have seemingly gone through this on an annual basis. Serious question. When was the last year we DIDN'T lose someone to attrition?

I don't believe Capel lost a player to attrition.

You don't see it because name calling posts are usually edited and it ends there. You also don't see the numerous PMs myself and the other admins have sent to posters who break the rules.

I don't call people out often publicly, unless they make a complete nuisance of themselves, the way you continue to do. Oh, you have some good things to say, most of them I agree with. It's the constant barrage of negativity and the complaints about Kruger and the players he recruits I object to. It should be obvious to you by now that I'm not alone.

Try thinking about what you are going to say before you type and you'll never hear from me again. What I'm not going to do is allow you to continue to be a troll. If you don't like that, find another board! You are not paying anything to be here, so you are free to leave anytime you want. I have my doubts if you will be missed.

Bobby Maze. If you're counting guys who had a scholarship, whether they made it to campus or not, Chris Early. Juan Patillo. Kyle Cannon.

Maaaaan oh man, I log on to see if the Shepard visit turned in to anything and the default "Welcome to the Sooner Nation, Young Man" thread is a bicker party. On the other hand, what else is new.

To Jordan Shepard or anyone close to him who happens upon this board: Get ready for the ride of your life. You're catching the wave at the absolute right time.

From the looks of the highlights, the floor vision and raw physical ability of this kid are awfully promising. I think he'll be right at home in the go-go offense we evolved for our embarrassment of guard talent. I see a lot of ceiling there. Cool late get by Kruger. I trust the talent evaluation implicitly at this point.
