His three point shot has the same lift and arc as his midrange shot. You can tell he put a lot of work in shooting from bta. Great to see!

Dude put in some time. Along with the rest of them

The fact that Woodard has a jump shot at all is a big improvement. I can't hardly believe the progress that he has made from his freshman year until now. As a freshman he had no jump shot. It was a wild drive inside hoping for free throws or a set shot from the perimeter. Teams played off of him in order to help out on other players. They didn't respect him offensively.

He was much better as a sophomore, but is even better this season. This year he is a real force. His 3 point shot is much better. I was skeptical on how effective he would be on the wing, but he has proved me wrong. I want he and Buddy taking open 3's. The other players not so much. He's even shooting jumpers off the dribble as defenders close out on him.

Another thing about Woodard is he may be the smartest player on the team. He's sneaky. He plays really good help defense. He positions himself well without the ball. He has even improved his vertical leap. I don't think he could have dunked the ball 2 years ago like he did on that last bucket against Harvard. As a result of all these factors, his rebounding is really good for someone under 6' tall.

It's obvious how hard he must have worked in the off-season.

He has also improved his body. Much leaner than Freshman year. He and Cousins probably have the least body fat.

Bryce Daub, S&C coach, probably deserves a thread sometime. I would like to see him add 15 pounds of muscle on Lattin and McNeace next off-season.

His dunk late in the game looked like he had to work pretty hard for that. I have never seen him dunk before and was curious if anyone has.

He dunked against Tech last year. After he signed with OU he talked in articles about being in slam dunk contests.. For whatever perceived shortcomings he's had over the years, his leaping ability and vertical hasn't really ever been one of them.

He's definitely worlds better this year, but I think you're coming down too hard on his freshman season. He shot .370 from deep that year. He actually fell off from three in his sophomore year, to .254.
