West Virginia gets to play #1 and #2 this week.

Should be a good test on the road for KU. It's always tough to come away with a win on WVU's home floor. It may be tougher this season, because this Mountaineer team is deep as well as good. Nine players on their team are averaging 16 or more minutes per game. They also have balanced scoring, as seven of the nine average between and 6. 4 and 14.5 points per game.

I think WVU will hand KU their first loss in conference tonight. I'll be pulling for them to do it, that's for sure!

I hope you're right Ada, but I'm not sure about that. I mentioned this in another thread....KU basically plays with two PGs (Mason, Graham) on the court most of the time. KU also has the depth in the frontcourt to bang bodies with WV on rebounds. And KU has taken relatively good care of the ball in almost all of their games.

Having said that, if the refs let WV hack and get away with it, then KU could be in trouble.....and that's ok by me:D

WVU would have the early driver seat in the conference with a win. They already have 2 road wins and a home win against KU would be huge.

Just tuned in and their crowd is more spare than I expected.

They said earlier in the broadcast that there had been a snowstorm. And the refs letting WV play their game thus far.....that bodes well for them.

I'm impressed with WVU. I liked Kruger's approach last season of preparing for the Mountaineers by putting 6 defenders on the floor. He needs to do it again. They're like little pests flying around out there. This season they are deeper and better.

KU is hanging in there in spite of not being able to throw a rock into the ocean.

WVU shooting 30% but have taken, and made, 10 more free throws.

Ugly basketball. WVU sure hacks a lot and does not get called. But KU looks like they have never seen a full court press.

I like our chances against WVU if we are shooting the 3 pretty good. KU looks like they don't want to shoot.

Yeah. I gave it 10 minutes and flipped the channel. Tough watch.

OU will have to bring their A game to win in Morgantown. Guards will have to handle the ball

Holly Rowe reported that Self did the same thing this week to help KU prepare...didn't help them much.

I think it's fair to say that WV is getting their fair share of calls (and no calls) tonight. But KU's biggest problem....20 turnovers. They're lucky they aren't getting beat worse tonight.

And from the short time I watched, none of it was from the press. They'd just throw the ball out of bounds in half court O.

Now maybe Texas can knock off isu....ewww I just threw up in my mouth.
