His son. And I believe he kept a guy from the staff that was there before, but I can't recall the name.

Wouldn't think they'd be able to get Allen this late in the game.

You're right WT. He might be the same kind of player as Danuel House who is transferring. They're both slender 6'7" wing players with good hops. Allen may be a bit more of a post player. At OU Allen will have to compete with Buford.

Hopefully Kellen will develop into a good head coach. After all he is a Sooner for life, and one day may come home to coach.

I'm biased, but I would love that.

He will certainly have the pedigree, and from all accounts is very energetic and has a good personality. Time will tell.

If Kellen can come in at this late date and snagged Allen away, I might get high on him too.

Stephen F. Austin and Appy State.

He also served at both IU and OU before SFA in some capacity. Not sure about IU, but I think he was a GA and Assistant Strength Coach at OU.

There is a slight difference between Michigan state and houston

Couldn't agree more, just sayin'.

I would hope OU could beat UH straight up for a recruit. Spyda seems to be a pretty decent prospect, too, for this late in the game.. If distance is an issue, is OU slightly closer to south Dallas? I know this, I live in Houston and UH is straight up in the ghetto. It is mostly commuters and I can't imagine wanting to go there for any kind of college experience. But, who knows how persuasive Kelvin can be.

Does anyone know if Allen has any leanings, and is he taking any other visits besides OU and UH? His offer list appears to be quite impressive. Makes me wonder why he's wasting officials on UH. Anyway..

He is having a nice recruiting day today. Landed a JUCO pg (#3 rated JUCO, I think). And landed a JUCO SG that originally signed with NMS, and was considering OSU (they have 'ships available?). Also in on a possible transfer from Purdue, and Allen, as we all know. I think he is going to recruit really well down there.
