Kruger is a terrible tourney coach

If you think Nova qualifies as "tons" then we will just have to disagree.

You said it, not me.

K we re up to 3 now - with ohio and gulf coast just in the last couple of years. Would it help if I pointed them out now then ? You gonna keep asking for more when you said just give me 1 or 2 ?

Go to his ESPN recruiting page. They absolutely did.

And you know UV is a #1 seed, right?

Go to his bio that's the truth not something on ESPN where a kid checks a box because some program sent him a letter. If you are telling me he eliminated Marquette because of Tech, Houston and South Florida then I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you.

"you" have given one. Other posters have provided the others and I'm still not convinced this roster compares to that Nova roster. Heck, Reynolds is better than Woodard and I like Woodard but Reynolds was better.

Check his Rivals page. It lists offers from UT, Louisville, and others.

You are the first person I've ever seen reference a bio for recruiting info. lol

We only got a 2 star defensive end? FIRE STOO...

oh wait.

Does it list he took a visit to those places too? Come on, or Meh as you say, those lists are compiled from questionaires. Offers are not made in most cases without a visit first. You know that right?

Inexperience is a terrible excuse. The majority of our team has at least two years of experience under their belt plus an NCAA tournament appearance last year. I think you are enabling this team and excusing their inconsistent effort and execution when you say we aren't experienced. Are we a team laden of seniors?....no. But our sophomores have had two full years of experience; Cam is a senior; Tyler is a senior. There is just no excuse to play the way that we did in the last minute.

And btw, NDSU has almost zero experience in the NCAA tournament....and they figured out a way to make plays down the stretch....even when their best player fouled out.

Maybe we aren't tough enough?....or maybe we just don't have the talent? I'm not sure...but I do know that we won 23 games this year. And this sh!t shouldn't be happening when it's happened several times to us already this season. I don't have the answer....but I won't make excuses either.

ok. thanks. :facepalm

Kruger did not lose this game. Not making shots did. We took 21 more FG attempts and make 2 fewer FGs than did the Bisons. We only missed 5 FTs but missed 3 of 6 the last two minutes of regulation. BTA we shot 40% (12-30) and 30.9% (13-42) ITA were blocked 6 times. We got destroyed in the paint despite winning the offensive board 18-6.

We lost the boards by 1. We had 5 fewer TOs, 2 more assist and 4 fewer PFs, They had two starters foul out. If you can't put the ball in the hole you normally get beat.

You are nuts.

Offers are made all the time without a visit.

And I remember the Marquette stuff. I'm pretty sure he visited Marquette right after or before he visited OU. I think they were our last competition for Hornbeak, if I'm remembering right.

I'm sorry that you don't remember any of this, and that the sites take down some of the info after a year has passed.

Heck, OU has offers out to both 2014 and 2015 kids that haven't set foot on campus.

BOB you should try using facts to support your opinions. Goofy emoticons and baseless claims aren't doing it for some of us.

I had no intention of posting tonight or responding to this thread, but this is so on point. OU basketball should not be so insecure to get upset when it is challenged. We should welcome the challenge to make our team/ program stronger, Kruger is a great coach but we need to take that next step. We just lost to a team much less talented than us. This is becoming a habit.

Meh, I'm sorry your clearly wrong.

No way he lists Tech, Houston, and South Florida on his bio if he was truly recruited and offered by the Marquette or the schools on that rivals page.

maybe he appreciated the schools enough to list them because of his experience? How do we not know that Enda Feinberg of OU's marketing department wrote the bio and didn't know the prestige levels of college basketball schools. WHY THE HELL ARE YOU READING THE BIOS.
