Next year's scoring options look even bleaker than this year's, if you can imagine that, without Osby and Pledger.

It's basically Buddy Hield or bust.

Are you kidding me? Bennett is redshirting as a juco player...That means he sucks!!! He's averaging about the same minutes as Arent who isn't redshirting.

2 more jucos means 2 more crappy post players.

Spangler is the best rebounder on the team right now, and I look for good things from Bennett, so we will only get better. Below is what is being said about Spangler on the Gonzaga Boards:


I hope their GU transfer can help turn this team around next season. I'm pulling for him.

I hated to see him go. You read their board and a few seem very unappreciative. As if they have "better" players in the pipeline. M'Baye would never see the floor at GU.

Kruger will turn things around. Capel left the cupboard bare.

Exactly. Anyone with a brain knows those guys wont be better than Osby and Fitzgerald. There's a reason Osby and Fits were 4-star guys. They are decent big men in the big 12. Those juco guys are in the same category as Arent, Nick Thompson, Cannon, etc etc.

they go to Juco for a reason. Either they dont have the grades or they dont have the talent. Or both.

It's clear to me, Fitz was overrated as his game is severely limited.

If ratings were based strictly on a 1-on-1 game Fitz would rank pretty high because he can score on most anyone in that type of matchup. However, throw 4 other guys on the floor on each team and his deficiencies start to glare big time. Can't play defense or rebound which is a shock considering his size, and his mobility is null and void.

SIDENOTE: And, Nick Thompson is by far the worst college player I've ever seen. While Arent ain't (;)) very good, he's light years better than Thompson.
 
I don't expect the point production off of the juco guys, or spangler. But I would expect rebounds to be better. All 4 big man if you include clark, where not boxing out last night. If they did get a rebound half the time the ball was knocked out of ther hands. Cannot get much worse on the rebounding side.
