We enter off the program's best win in a long time, they're trying to avoid an 0-3 start.

Prime spot for KSU to play its guts out and OU to swoon. If we're truly a Sweet 16 or better type team we win and win by 10-15.

Honestly, what is with our fans this season and arbitrary "we have to win by X amount posts." I checked the rules and in basketball you only have to win by 1 point.

Yep, just win baby!

If we beat K-State by one point I'll celebrate. My point was, a mature, advanced team does more than that.

Carry on.

I don't care how they do it, but this really is a game OU ought to win convincingly. K-State is really struggling to score lately and OU is playing it's best defense since the Sampson era.

Well...the 88 team was "mature and advanced" and they lost in Manhattan. Of course, Kruger was coaching KSU so maybe that had something to do with it. :ez-laugh:

I think it's safe to assume that K-State is going to show up and do their best to steal one on the road. I also believe it's possible that OU will experience a bit of a letdown following the best game this team has played all season.

For that reason I'll take a W in a close one and be happy. But if what we saw last night is any indication of how far the team has come since their loss to UW, I don't expect to see another nail biter.

A KSU team that went to the Elite 8 and was led by a guy who is in the basketball HOF.

Funny, I was going to point out several close wins in that season. Good teams find a way to win but they don't always blow everyone out.

I think OU will win by double digits.

This is a home game against a .500 team. I don't get your point.

Do you think the Weber State game was a fluke, Colston. We lead a team by 46 to 4. That was such a dominant defensive performance, Kelvin Sampson would cry.

Texas shows that wasn't a fluke. We go on a 39-0 run against Weber. Not a fluke.

The difference between these last several games and Creighton is Tayshawn Thomas blending in. Not a fluke. TT is a lot better ball handler than anyone thought. It's like having Boris Diaw playing college ball.

I could see this game as being pretty close until the last 7 minutes or so at which time I think OU will finish with a comfortable win.
