Am I the only one surprised that OU didn't drop all that much in the latest polls? We're still at the #17 spot in both polls.

Okie State is the only other team in the top 25 with 8 losses.

I'm not too surprised by that. We beat a really good Iowa State team handily at the beginning of the week, in the Monday night spotlight game, where I'm sure a lot of people got to watch it. Then losing a fairly tough road game, when kansas state is at full strength, at the last second. There were also a lot of other ranked teams that lost last week which helps. I wonder where we would have been had we pulled off the Kansas state game?

We get a lot more credit with the national pundits than we do with some of the mouth-breathing reactionaries around here. And yes, I lump anyone from Ada in as a mouth-breathing reactionary.

Seth Davis ranked us TENTH in this week's ballot.

According to Bracket Matrix, the vast majority of bracketologists have us as either a three or a four-seed in their projections.

We're pretty good, and it's a good week to lay a whipping on some teams from Texas.

Also, I see Texas is the first team in the others receiving votes. I wish they had cracked back into the top 25 this week for our game tomorrow. Would make beating them down again that much better!

It's hard to argue with a 9-4 record vs the top 50 with 5 of those wins against the top 25. Few teams can boast those types of results against the best teams. If we can finish up 4-1 down the stretch, then we are no worse than a 4 and likely a 3 seed....depending on how other teams around us (seeding-wise) perform.
