I wish Odomes could shoot some 3s. Then we'd have 3 great young pieces in odomes, mcgusty and doolittle

Odomes can shoot from three. That's just not his role right now.

Rashard can shoot from three. He's just good at scoring off of the dribble drive, so that is what the coaches have told him to do.

I finally found an article I came across sometime ago that proves he was outstanding from behind the arc his senior year in high school:

The stats on MaxPreps show he had a 49% average from three his freshman and sophomore seasons, so his 50% average as a senior was no fluke.

In another article I found, Scout's Justin Hite predicted Rashard would average 40% from three his freshman season at OU. We know now he struggled mightily last year. But, the improvements he has demonstrated from last year to the current season should leave no doubt that he will be a scorer deluxe before he's through. Make no mistake, he can also make shots from three point range if that's what LK wants him to do.

no offense, but i'll have to see it to believe it. He has had some wide open looks and he doesn't shoot it. Regardless of role with the team, a wide open three is good offense
