More believable to me.
Judging from how Ford has worded a few things in the press conference, and even how Smart did, I think Smart lied initially about what what Orr said. I think Smart knew he was in BIG trouble right off the bat, and he's a smart enough guy to know he needed a better "reason" to push the guy than "piece of crap."
I don't think Smart is a thug, or a punk. Others here may disagree. I think he's a pretty good kid. He needs to learn how to act on the court, that is for certain. His competitive side, and dealing with adversity (team and personally not playing well), has certainly gotten the best of him. I'm not particularly enamored with his skill set, but I don't think he is a bad kid. I've seen bad kids. Smart hasn't ever had a history of ANY issues off the court. I think the 3 games is probably fair, especially since he probably lied initially about what Orr said.
