To begin...I just want to say I am super glad I was wrong and they decided to go another direction, away from Capel...I am a loyal guy and try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt in situations like he was going through...I also didn't think they would be able to get a guy with Kruger's track record...when he was hired, I immediately knew it would prove to be a good one...
I just can't believe how quickly they have turned the culture around in this program...and IMO that shows how inconsistent and underachieving Capel was...OU now plays with a purpose, they are scrappy and play hard...so far seem to be in good position defensively and have a flow on offense...
Rebounding is still a major weakness, but with this roster I think we all knew it would be...I guarantee they will improve though...
I'm not too high, as I realize this is still an NIT team at best and would be a successful season if we made that postseason tourney, but it is refreshing to see this type of basketball being played...I just look forward to continued development from individual players and the team overall, looks like I might be able to stomach this season after all...
