My thoughts on the Virginia game

Beers is the best center since paris. And deeper at center. Johnson is better and we have culliton

Substantially better and deeper at point.

The most experienced and deepest perimeter group in the country

Beers, by herself, puts us in the small group of teams capable of winning a championship. Usually there are only 5-6 teams with a good and big enough center to win a championship. Almost impossible to win without a legit big.

Hopefully we will shoot the 3 better and clean up some of the silliest passing turnovers. There will always be turnovers in girls basketball but you have to use better judgment than we did on some occasions

Coming up with a good rotation might be jennies toughest task

Another point on this year is we have taken a big step forward on defense...Beers is an excellent defensive center and absolutely controls the defensive boards. Also you can see that Sahara worked extremely hard during the off season to improve her defensive footwork and is committed to being a defensive stopper on the best guard for every team we will face. And I agree KJ that the light seems to have clicked on for her and she is an excellent backup for Skylar and provides our opponents with a different challenge at the 4 spot.
