Same coaches, different order.

Marshall
Smith
Sadler
Evans

I would take any of the 4. At this point, hand the team over to sherri and let her coach both womens and mens. Couldn't be any worse.

I have to say, I do not know who on the list I want. I have not been able to follow college ball as I like the last couple years. Mainly time to keep with the Sooners only.

I do know who I don't want.

Open up the checkbook and bring in Buzz Williams.

Gregg Marshall. Kinda surprised he doesn't have a bigger job already.

guess I'm the only one who likes drunken womanizers who win there tails off

Buzz has a great job... no way that happens.
Its a long shot but man it would be the best case scenario. That guy would clean up Oklahoma and Texas kids. It would be beautiful.

Fire Capel as soon as he gets off the plane tonight...

Name Billy Tubbs head coach Thursday morning at 9 am...

The LNC quickly sells out to see the return of Billy on Saturday...

Then hire Gillispie as HCIW at noon tomorrow...

Gillispie gets a jump on filling in the gaps in the spring recruiting class...

Flame away...

At this point they could bring in Art Schlichter and I would be happy.

I want a more experienced guy. I kinda like Terry Evans, but there's a lot unknown about him realistically. Which is basically what we had with Capel and look how that's turned out.

I like Tubby Smith the most, but I know we probably won't go for him. I kinda like Eustachey but he has the baggage. Doc Saddler would be great. Mark Few would be awesome but won't happen. I don't know if I want use to get the next young great coach. I would like a coach that's a little more seasoned and more proven than we got.

Marshall took Winthrop to the tourney 7 times before moving to WSU and they are tourney bound this season.

He is seasoned, a good coach, very sharp, and would run a clean program.

I kinda like him, and Gillespie too but he also has the baggage.

Dave Rose from BYU. He's from texas and he wouldn't have to dismiss kids from getting a piece of tail.

Tubby Smith or Billy Gillispie (sp?)

Tubby Smith, seasoned coach who like someone else said elsewhere, can come in and stabilize the program and get it back to its normal respectable level. Billy G, little more risk, could be a more long term fix (younger). Both guys are big names though which would help keep OU relevent on the national scene in the next couple of years while the program recovers.
