Anthony Davis signs 5 year deal with Pelicans for 145M. I didn't realize his contract could go that high, but he's worth it. The Pelicans solidified league relevancy for several years to come.

Goran Dragic signed 5 years 90M with the Heat.

Danny Green signs 4 year 45M deal with the Spurs. If I'm not mistaken, this eliminates them from the Lamarcus Aldridge sweepstakes.

Demarre Carroll signed a 4 year 60M deal with the Raptors. Yikes.

Spurs got rid of Splitter. They can still offer Aldridge a max deal.

This might not be accurate. The Spurs just traded Splitter to the Hawks. This protects Atlanta if Millsap takes Orlando's offer.

That's what I'm hearing. Others know the numbers better than me, so I believe them, but it looks complicated to me. Signing Aldridge for just under 20M would leave them with about 10M to sign Duncan, Ginobli, and match the max offers Leonard is sure to get. I just don't see how they can pull this off without going insanely over the cap unless they're paying Ginobli and Duncan near-minimum contracts (and even then, I suspect they'd have to go over).

Khris Middleton on verge of 5 year 70M contract with Bucks.

Nets sign Thad Young for 4 years 50M and Brook Lopez for 3 years 60M.

Everybody is getting paid!

From what I'm seeing, all signs point to Aldridge being the Lakers' #1 target. Kobe, Byron Scott, Mitch Kupchak, James Worthy, and Jim and Jeanie Buss were all at the meeting with him.

I'll be very surprised if Aldridge does not sign with the Spurs. It's the perfect basketball fit today and tomorrow. The question is if he can take living in San Antonio after being stuck in Portland all those years. And don't tell me "he's from Texas" because where is his off season home? Texas? Nope. Newport Beach by Kobe.

I personally think Deandre Jordan should be the #1 target with Tyson Chandler second and you hope Upshaw can stay straight & develop.

Love is going to stay with the Cavs. Kinda suprised there. Thought he wasn't really a fit this year as it played out.

Spurs signed Green to a 5 year 45 million dollar deal

Suns give Brandon Knight 5 years 70 million

Aldridge said no to the Lakers. Not surprising or much of a loss IMO. He's not much of a fit next to Randle. DJ is the guy they should try hardest to land. Perfect fit, already lives here and could be the next great Laker center.

If not I would resign Jordan Hill, try to develop Upshaw and be patient. Greg Monroe should only be signed if he would agree to a short term deal. He's the kind of guy you don't want to get stuck with an albatross contract.

Why are the Magic trying to offer Paul Millsap a max deal when they should be offering Greg Monroe a max deal? Monroe is bigger, more skilled, and 5 years younger.

Vucevic and Monroe would be a potent post combination down in Orlando.

Looks like my Lakers are striking out AGAIN.......

Oh how we miss you Dr. Jerry Buss......

Note to Kupchak: STOP LETTING KOBE SIT IN ON THE FA MEETINGS. As great of a player as he is/was, the dude is terrible when it comes to warming people up. he is too self-centered for that.

lol @ striking out. The bottom line is that Aldridge wants to play PF and the lakers pitched him as a center. It's not a fit. No biggie. The will build organically and be better for it in the long run.

Seriously missing on Howard, Melo or Aldridge is "striking out" or hitting a home run? They can only afford 1 of those guys and none of them are title caliber leading men.

Paul Pierce go the Clippers. Him and Lance Stephenson replacing Matt Barnes is a pretty big upgrade. DJ probably stays.

Lakers will be fine once Kobe retires. Better to save that cap space and try again next year.
