NBA- OU players and general (this thread only)

Well, Trae will get AD as a teammate.
Terrible trade for the Wizards. Why would a rebuilding franchise give up two 1st round picks (even protected ones) and three 2nd round picks for a guy who is always injured and will likely retire in the next few years. Let's face it - AD is aging badly. None of the other players on either side of the trade are worth much. Middleton is at the end of his career as well, and D Russell has always been a bit of an enigma. It's basically a trade for an aging oft-injured player in return for a slew of draft picks.

Of course, this is a lousy trade for Dallas as well. Since AD barely had a cup of coffee with them (based on games played), you basically gave up Luka for two low 1st round picks and a bunch of 2nds...that is why their GM is now unemployed.

I’m not sure about that. Trae is really trending downward and if he is your second best player, I don’t know that you’re a playoff team. And the odds of Davis staying healthy aren’t great to begin with.

One Sooner leaves the Atlanta Hawks and another one joins! The Warriors traded Buddy Hield and J Kuminga for K Porzingas...If Porzingas can find a way to stay on the court, it could be a good trade for the Warriors. They weren't playing Kuminga at all and Buddy's best years are (sadly) behind him. This was the first year in his career he was stringing "DNP - Coaches Decision" games together. Of course, Porzingas has about the same odds of staying healthy as AD so I guess neither team had much to lose with this trade.

Man four Sooners in the league and three are on teams that are just nonfactors. Atlanta is currently in position to make the playin, but obviously no threat to do anything. I wish more of our guys were on teams that could potentially do something in the spring.
