NCAA Tourney the Thread

It’s actually pretty darn impressive. Can’t imagine many other leagues have ever done that, and conferences have bragged about far less lol.

The only thing I can think of is maybe some smaller conference with like 2-4 total teams in both have done it before but a major conference probably no way.

Kelvin's crew is looking pretty good for a sweet 16 spot.

Houston making straight dawg plays.

Also the older ref is slightly ruining this game

I wonder if Kelvin has a chance to win this? When he lost his two starting guards early in the year, I didn't think he'd make the Sweet 16 again.

I think that will eventually catch up with them when they likely play Arizona, but what an unreal job. Five new starters, lose your best player a couple months into the season, and yet here they are. There is no better pure coach than Kelvin. It’s impossible to overstate how bad a shape that program was in when he took over.

Agreed

Three straight Sweet 16 seasons for Houston and they are a basket away from making that 4

Today was the first time Houston has beaten a single digit seed in the tourney since 1984. Pretty crazy stat considering their recent tourney success.

Well 2 games and Big 10 teams getting dominated by mid high mid major teams.

Nova has this one in hand. Big 10 is down to Mich State and Michigan now.

Houston is no.2 in KenPom after today's win. They're elite and vastly under-seeded as a 5.

Michigan State vs Duke is a fun game under 4 timeout 1 point game.

Duke takes down Michigan State in a pretty solid game. I think they probably got the benefit of that last call but it didn't really matter.

ISU vs Wisconsin game is close.

ISU not playing that great....but still ahead by three.

Almost halftime; less than a minute left.

Halftime

ISU 26

ND 25
