NDSU message board

If OU lost to Fort Waye college by 11 points....I would pipe down on killing someone that is a higher seed in the Tourny

NDSU has won 10 games against teams with records above .500. Those games are Western Michigan, Bryant, Notre Dame, Delaware, Towson, Utah Valley, IPFW, South Dakota State, IPFW, South Dakota State, IPFW. They beat IPFW and South Dakota State twice So they have beaten 8 teams that are above .500. Bryant is a D-II. So they have beaten 7 teams with records above .500 in D-I basketball. I don't think any of those teams made the Tournament.

What type of a melt down would occur if OU lost to any of those teams with the possible exception of Notre Dame? For example, Delaware is a solid team but nobody would say it is acceptable for OU to lose to Delaware.

Oklahoma has beaten Mercer, Tulsa, ISU, OSU, OSU, Texas, Texas, KSU, Baylor, Baylor, that are in the Tournament. OU also beat WVU, TAMU CC, A&M with winning records. Tech, Alabama and Seton Hall did not have good records this year but I suspect all 3 would win NDSU conference or be extremely competitive in that conference.

OU will need to play a solid game but OU should win this game.

I don't mean any disrespect to NDSU. They had a good season and are a solid basketball team but there is a reason OU is a 5 seed and they are a 12 seed.

LV sports books list OU at 100 to 1 to win the tourney. ND St. is 1000 to 1. I'm sure the Bison's will come with a good effort. They will probably be well coached and have some good players. That would be characteristic of teams that won as many games as they have.

But, the chances of them beating any Big 12 team that made the tourney are slim and none. I'm guessing that by halftime Slim will have left the building.

I hope you are right, I dont want the same feeling I had last year

TCU would give them a good game. TCU with Fields would beat them.

I just did .... Waiting to be approved

You may still be waiting at this time tomorrow. I registered shortly after I asked that question (this morning), and I'm still waiting to be approved.

Sounds like another board whose name I won't mention.

I take nothing for granted after losing to the Manhatten Jaspers.

Not just that, but look at KU. They lost what, 2-3 games in recent memory to teams that aren't much better on paper than NDST?

The NCAA Tourney is a lot like football bowl games. One game, out of the rhythm of the regular season, can create some crazy results. Parity is here in just about all sports.

You guys need to register with a NDState screenname. Something like BisonGirth69

Dear IndySooner,

We have now activated your account at the Bisonville Forums.

A few minutes ago, I emailed the NDSU message board and asked why my account had not been activiated. I explained that I was no troll and just wanted to talk basketball with the fans of our first round opponent. I had registered Monday morning using a different user name than the one I use here.

Anyway, within 10 minutes of my email, I received a reply from Bisonville Forums stating that my account had been activated. I see here that IndySooner has also been activated.

Interesting.

Pretty funny stuff over there on the NDSU message board. They act like they're North Carolina.

Yes they do. Still, we should try to be respectful if any of us decide to post on their board.

I'd be confident too if I'd beaten up on a conf consisting of:
N Dakota, Omaha, IUPUI, S Dakota St, Denver, W Ill, & mighty Ft Wayne!!!
This is a great point as your conference which has Colorado, Missouri and Texas A&M is very strong.

If you can list a school not in the Summit, figure its only fair I list schools not in the Big 12

Evidently, they don't want any Sooners on their board. I've been waiting 24 hours now.

patience young jedis the board is operated by a couple guys with full time jobs who make nothing off operating that board which has been around since 2000 if not before. The traffic over there blows this place out of the water. No disrespect to this board, its just bisonville is the only NDSU message board. I am fairly certain there are other places to go for OU sports

You need to tell people North Dakota is not in the Summit or they might not understand what you are saying. Not everyone knows North Dakota is in the Big Sky. I didn't until I looked up which school was wrong.
