Saw on another site that we made the final cut on a kid by the name of Pat Swilling out of New Orleans. Don't know much about him, only that he is a 6'4 wing and a two sport national recruit (football and basketball). Just reading the article, it sounds like he likes Capel.

FWIW

Senior guard Pat Swilling Jr. scored 21 of his game-high 25 points in the second half and played a major role in putting a defensive clamp on Jesuit forward Brady Hadden in the Crusaders' 52-44 District 10-5A victory at Bobby Conlin Gymnasium.

LAFAYETTE, La. --
Ten 4th quarter points from senior guard Pat Swilling Jr. powered the Brother Martin Crusaders to the Louisiana 5A boys basketball title Saturday night. Swilling is the son of former New Orleans Saints linebacker Pat Swilling. His effort helped edge Brother Martin past Scotlandville 55-54.

I used to dominate with his dad in Tecmo games.

Sounds like he's still trying to figure out if he wants to play football or basketball. Says he wants to visit Colorado, Alabama, Oklahoma, UCLA & Marquette.

Pat Swilling Sr. played at Ga Tech and ended his career as the all time sack leader there.

Yeah, I read it wrong. He said if he follows his fathers' footsteps (and plays football) he's going to Colorado.

Holy crap Pat Swilling? I don't even need to see him play. Sign him up NOW

I love the db mentality but " It is important to me that the school has a strong tradition with a strong and loyal fan base." and chose CU for football?
This kid sounds like a fantastic get for the program. Go get'em Jeff.
