Next Four Games

Our next four games are against

OSU
Baylor
KU
WVU

We could go anywhere from 3-1 to 0-4.

Well, KU beat KSU a couple of days ago. So I would say 1-3 at best 0-4 not out of the realm of possibility.

Well, three are at home so that helps, however, our current play would make 0-4 more likely. The four returning starters overachieved last year with the help of Jo who was fairly close to a double, double every game. We have no one who can come close to replacing that production. Griffin has improved, Morgan is the same, and the other two, particularly Vegas have regressed in my opinion. We also lost our "players coach" in Whit. In fact ever since we hired a certain coach and lost another without Whit the players seem lost. We have not recruited well enough to fill the voids!! I also think we do not have the staff we need. Put your best defender on Vegas and we have no answer.

If we go 0-4 in the next four games I will need to top what I did after we amassed 7 losses. I am guessing that it involves fire... lots and lots of fire

I agree with what everyone has said so far that it depends on what team shows up on game day. Another thing to toss in the arena is the fact that Vegas didn't take as much time off as the others since she was representing the USA. Maybe it is just me, but she isn't the first one to go off to support USA basketball and come out the next year and fall down.

We've got a team comprised of role players and no leader(s). Can't be fixed this year, no one is going to change at this point. Don't like to think about next year cause I don't see anyone stepping up into a leadership role.

I think sherri's recruited too few inside scorers.

I think that OU has a decent shot to beat us. Griffin needs to be aggressive and post up cuz our posts are green and tend to foul a lot. Gardner from KU had a field day in the low post and Suttles from OSU was succeeding until she decided to abandon the block and shoot from the outside. We don't play well away from the Ferrell Center and in this league anything is possible. Plus, the game Mon. night will be our 3rd game in 6 days!!

OU will have to play a heck of a game and Baylor will need to be mediocre for us to win. We don't have a killer instinct. Certainly, Sims does. Baylor should have plenty of confidence coming in whereas, OU's confidence cannot be high at this point. I am more impressed with Baylor's defense and that will be a very important aspect of the game. Baylor has the advantage. I'm just hoping for an upset.
