These next two games may well be the key to our post season future. They are against teams that have historically given us problems.

We’ve beaten them both this season.

We have to beat them both again to have any chance to make the tournament. I have said I don’t think we will. I still don’t, but I do have a small sliver of hope where I didn’t several weeks ago.

Frankly, the only real keys to winning are whether or not we come out hitting and whether or not we have one of our infamous shooting droughts.

I don’t think we can beat UT down there.

If we can’t win both of these two, I don’t think we can survive that tournament-wise.

If we continue to play defense the way we have in the past five or six games against West Virginia, we will win. They do not have the ability to shoot if we guard them tightly. We shut them down. Same with Tech. They can't shoot.

I think if we finish 15-14, we will be in the tournament. Our SOS is #2. It's not just that we have played a tough schedule. We will have played UConn, Oregon, and four games against Baylor and Texas, top ten teams. That is a bit too much to ignore. You don't let a 20-10 team that played nobody into the NCAAs while discriminating against a team that has an SOS of #2.

I suspect if we win 2 of our remaining 4 games we have a reasonable chance of getting an invite.

If we win 3 of the 4 (or 4 of 4 :woot) we are pretty certain to get in.
