I think we need to see Cameron Clark and Calvin Newell step up more. They have the skills. Fitzgerald and Clark can't do things by themselves. I was really hoping Clark would play better than he has in these 2 games.

I'm not in favor of this but capel is in a situation to were we have to get more talent and be competitive or he is gone....in my opinion he has no choice but to give Garrick the boot

I know for a fact that they were going to give him the boot last season...but he got lucky with all of the departures...We had a hard enough time filling 8 scholarships last season.

Personally, I think Hardrick should be allowed to keep his scholarship as long he has a good attitude and does things right on and off the court even if he never plays a single minute. OU made a commitment to him and OU should keep that commitment just like kids should keep their commitment to OU.

Seriously what do you think the chances of a truely "elite" player of any kind coming to OU right now are? I don't want to get into a coach discussion because I think at this point whether Capel stays or goes we are easily 2-3 years out of making it to the NCAA. I am counting this year in that by the way. Maybe I a pessismistic but I think it will take that long to bring our team along. Lot's have compared us to his VCU team but I would like to see the player turnover numbers between his OU and VCU teams. I would bet very little turnover in the VCU teams. They played well together and we are going to have to develop that.

OU needs Terrell Everett or Mike Neal, now... A guy who can come in and average 19-12 right off the bat. No projects, none of that. Go get a 2-3 guys who can play right now.

Scholarships are a yearly contract, not a 4 year contract. Travis Ford will do what it takes to win ball games...Capel will do the same.

Capel need to move Clark to the point are the 2 this kid needs the ball in his hands so he can create shots forhimself and everyone around him.Capel need to run his offense around Clark.Clark is use to having the ball.
