His passing was awesome again today, and he hit some huge shots at the start of OT. He should be a good player for us the next two years. :woot

He does all the little things so well. I don't think we'll see him be a good scorer really. But he more than makes up for it.

I appreciate any of them who work hard. Despite their mistakes tonight it sounds like they worked hard.

He moved up in my book tonight. The passing was impressive once again, but his rebounding was much better tonight than it was vs Coppin st. He was one of the few reasons we won this game. Fitzgerald and Honore were the others. Ohh, and the big shot by Pledger.

After two nasty fade aways, I appreciate Nick taking the ball up strong twice in a row for buckets!! Atta boy Nick! The complete package is coming together. :clap

I appreciate Nick for actually being proud and passionate about being a Sooner. That's a welcome change!

Totally agree. He LOVES being on this team and playing with that Oklahoma jersey on his chest....and it shows.

I will go on the record as saying that I apreciate Nick "Captain Hot Sauce" Thompson. Mark me down.

His passes were awesome last night. Props to Thompson!

:clap

He may be the best point guard on the team. Okay, maybe not, but he is fun to watch.

Thoroughly impressed with this kid. I think the offense should run through him from the point post. He's a triple threat because he can score at the high post, find Fitz, and eventually will be able to identify wing shooters. Once Pledger gets back at the wing, he'll benefit from NT.

This kid can play and will only get better; love his competitiveness and desire. He did a lot of good things last night and knows how to play the game. My favorite play he made was when he leveled their PG with a pick and stared him down. It wasn't dirty but good, tough basketball and OU needs more guys like him if they're going to compete without big time hs recruits on the roster.

this .. as long as he goes up strong he and we will be in good shape .. i don't want to see either of our post guys fade away

Yeah, he is not showing the heart and desire right now that he showed the first few games when he was yelling every time he got a rebound and holding his hand up when he hit a 3. Now he's just letting people push him around and walking on and off the court. He's not acting like or playing like a team captain. Wish he'd get that attitude back that he had early on.

How many charges did he take the first 3 games? How many has he taken since? He's like a different kid.

Tonight was a good experience for Nick. He did a lot of things well. The crowd got to him some but he will be better for it.

Nick needs to start at the 4 along with Blair, Pledger, Clark & Fitz.

I think Nick has a great future at OU. Sure wish he was a freshman with three more years to play.
