How is this kid playing D-1 ball? He is awful. I think the only thing he does good is foul hard on opponents dunking the ball on fast breaks. And even then, he messes it up.

He is an awkard person out there. I think Longar Longar looked smoother than him.

Does he leave at the end of the year?

I've said this from Day 1. Forget him and play Neal.

I want to say something nice so I'll say it: we have a lot of players on our team. The bench seems filled out.

Since he's a horrible rebounder...maybe he could work on becoming a SF. He's shooting the best percentage from beyond the arc.

It's not easy to rebound when you're fifteen feet or more from the basket. Nick rarely goes inside on offense to score or rebound. It's not that he can't rebound, it's that he is playing out of position. Playing the three on a team with two solid post players inside (see his JUCO team) is fine. Not on this team. When Thompson stays on the perimeter that leaves Drew to go it alone on the inside, with a little help from Clark and our guards.

As a side note, next time you watch a game, count the number of times you see a shot go up from three and there is no one to rebound the miss. Add to that the number of times Fitz is the only player in a position to rebound, and it's easy to see why this team doesn't get many second and third chance opportunities. It's not like a shot from three should surprise anyone. Yet, shots go up from behind the arc routinely when there is NO ONE in a position to rebound the miss.

I have no clue what this team is doing on offense, and I don't believe I'm alone.

I still do not understand why Capel felt the need to use every single scholarship we had for this season by offering guys like Ahmed and Thompson. I realize we just needed some bodies, but we didn't need THAT many bodies.

Nick Thompson is the softest big man I have ever seen. He wants no part of physical play. He's not inside rebounding because he does not want to be inside rebounding. That is why he's on the bench.

Well Ahmed is not on the team anymore, and after next season you won't have to worry about Thompson or Washington. And everyone is crying for Neal and Newell to get PT so I guess the signings weren't terrible bad since people Are calling for PT.

From what I can tell, Washington should be playing as much as possible. Dude can rebound and right now that's what we need.

People want Newell and Neal to get playing time because they want to see if they can do any better than the guys that are playing. It's too early to tell how good they are because of their limited minutes.

I've not been a Thompson fan from the start. I'd much rather play Washington/Neal.
