I just went to soonersports.com and it said there are no tickets available. With the terrible crowds we have had all season, how is that possibly true?

Simple. People buy season tickets to OU Basketball and don't go but to two, maybe three games. You make the big donation to the Sooner Club to get the tickets, and you write it off on your taxes.
Just watching the womens game now. Bob Carpenter said that the men's game had approx 9,000 people today, but they sold 12,000 tickets. What else are people doing in OKc/Norman at 3pm on a Saturday?

Most of the tickets sold that were not used are tickets sold to corporations which are mostly used by a companies customers or employees. Those tickets probably go 65-75% unused.

Cheapskates like me get to sit in a good seat because the corporations don't make an effort to make sure their tickets are used. I love sitting in the lower bowl, but I would rather it were full from tipoff.
