OKC Thunder

Thunder beat The Nuggets by fifteen points. Westbrook has another dismal shooting performance. Presti was wise to trade him away. SGA is becoming a superstar.

The Thunder are the superior team right now. Westbrook is a rotation guy off the bench. Yeah he didn't shoot it well but he also had 5 rebounds and 5 assists in 21 minutes. He is far from the worst problem the Nuggets have. Presti traded Westbrook because the team was going into full rebuild mode. The fans of OKC will, rightfully, always love Russ. Not sure why you would even bring him up. As for the Thunder, they looked great and Chet is a budding superstar.

Nuggets losing Caldwell-Pope is gonna hurt them a lot. Thunder are just better overall already and aren't even near what they will be with IHart.

It will be really interesting to see what Presti does with all of the picks that are upcoming. The roster is already stacked with young talent.
I don't think OKC needs another superstar. Do you just keep pushing them back in time until you need them?

At some point you probably won't be able to keep role players like Wiggins, Joe, Jaylin Williams, Wallace, Dort etc down the line so you need draft picks to replace them. If you try to just keep say Chet, JDub, SGA as long as they are capable having those draft picks will be valuable to fill in the other spots. IHart is only on a 3 year deal and if you extend that you probably will have to let others go. JDub and Chet are probably about to get big contracts in a year or so. And you already have SGA till like 2031. With as much space as the top 3 guys will take you probably are only gonna keep a couple of the other role players at most.

Well that stinks. I guess just hold serve while they are out and get them ready for the stretch run

Thunder pass their first "Chet less" test with a victory against The Clippers. SGA went wild in the game.

Thunder barely lose to The Mavericks, but they get hammered on the boards. P.J. Washington had seventeen rebounds.

With Isaiah at center, OKC out rebounded Sacramento 44-31 in an impressive road victory.

Thunder lose to The Rockets, as they let Houston rally in the fourth quarter.

Thunder thump The Jazz by 27 points and they clear their bench, playing 12 players. Alex and Chet didn't play, so they are pretty deep.
