Did you guys see this?

Great news... OKC and Tulsa were both selected as 1st/2nd round host sites for the 2016 and 2017 NCAA Tournament, respectively.

Hopefully OSU and OU will be good enough to get some local teams there.

I remember that neither OSU nor OU were in Tulsa last time it was there, and I'm pretty sure they weren't in OKC the last time either.

I hadn't heard but that's great!!! I would be very disappointed if both teams made the dance and neither played here.

The Tulsa station I was listening to at 6:30 didn't mention the 2016 site in OKC.

This is good news for the whole state!

On another note, it just occurred to me that they have gone back to referring to the round of 64 as the "1st/2nd round" games, instead of this "2nd/3rd round" garbage they were trying to push on us since the "first four" thing started.

Last time the Tourney was in Tulsa, UNLV and LK were there. Played Illinois.

Now, this is some truly great news!

Yep. The others were Kansas, Memphis, Texas, Arizona... and... can't recall who else.

I was at the Thursday day session... the one with the Memphis/Arizona game that went to OT.

I remember Memphis had a HUGE crowd in Tulsa... easily the second most after Kansas. I also remember Texas had a terrible crowd, lol.
