*****Oklahoma vs. Washington State Cougars Game Thread*****

My first look at the team other than highlights this year. Much easier to watch than last year, loving the hard defense and 100% effort.

Oh and I like Grooms a lot. His penetration has the potential to open a lot of things up on the wings.

My first look, too, unfortunately.

Really impressed with the hustle. Really impressed with the rebounding. Not sure how good this WSU team is, but OU at least looks like they're working this year. MUCH improved over anything I saw last year.

Hey, can we get a guy that can hit a free throw? Cmon

So I take it you think that Fitzgerald and/or Blair playing 30 minutes per game is a winning formula? :)

I think we can win with Fitz getting up to 30 minutes. And Blair has played pretty well up until tonight. This team isn't talented enough to write guys off after they have bad games, or halves. Everybody on our roster will have ups and downs. We'll need them all at some point.

I like the current starting lineup, and I pretty much like the bench rotation. I think LK has it right at this time.

Nice to see some hustle, and good coaching back. Will be watching all games I can from this point forward. Will probably go to some.

We are playing too much one on one right now.
Also, Arent doesn't have much offensive game.

All I'm saying is if we really want to compete in the big 12 then Fitz and Blair need to be 10-15 min max players. I feel like we've got a large enough sample size of both to know that they each have fundamental flaws in their game. Blair is going to commit mind numbing turnovers and Fitzgerald is going to play like his feet are cinder blocks. Nothing against them, they're just limited players that have been forced to play more than they should at a power conference school.

If I ever get a job, I'll definitely get to more than two this year. That was last year, the least I'd been to since 2002, when I lived in Indiana.
